Purge Media AS is the data controller for the personal data collected through our websites and services.

We only process personal data that is necessary to deliver our services. This may include:

• Company name
• Answers to questions in forms
• Information you provide yourself in messages or applications

When you register interest in a position through SmartHire.no or via a Facebook Lead Ads form, we collect the information you choose to submit. This will typically be:

• Name
• Phone number
• Email address
• Answers to questions related to the relevant position

Purge Media AS is the data controller until the information is transferred to the company or companies recruiting for the position.

To deliver the service, we use, among others:

• Zapier for secure, automated transfer of data between systems.
• Workable as our recruitment system.

Data processed in Zapier is automatically deleted after 69 days.

Information stored in Workable is normally kept for up to 6 months before being deleted, unless longer storage is required by law or you have consented to further storage.

The information is shared only with the company or companies recruiting for the relevant position, normally one or two relevant employers.

Once the information has been transferred, the relevant employer is the data controller for the further processing.

If you submit a request via the contact form on the website, the information you provide is processed in order to respond to your enquiry.

The information is sent directly to a consultant at Purge Media AS and is only used to follow up on your enquiry.

We process personal data to:

• refer candidates to relevant employers,
• administer recruitment processes,
• respond to enquiries,
• deliver our services,
• fulfil legal obligations.

The processing takes place because:

• you submit an application or register interest in a position yourself,
• you contact us through our websites,
• or we have a legitimate interest in administering and delivering our services.

We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected for, or for as long as required by law.

We only use necessary cookies for the website to function.

We currently do not use analytics tools, marketing pixels, or other third-party tracking that stores or shares personal data about visitors.

If this changes in the future, this privacy policy and our cookie solution will be updated.

Some of our data processors may process personal data outside the EU/EEA.

If this occurs, we ensure that the transfer takes place in accordance with the GDPR, including through the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

You have the right to:

• request access to the information we hold about you,
• request correction of inaccurate information,
• request deletion when the conditions are met,
• request restriction of the processing,
• object to the processing where the law provides grounds for this,
• receive information you have provided to us in a structured format, where applicable.
